Back in 2007, Chris Bledsoe says his life had reached a breaking point. His business was failing, his personal life was under strain, and his health was deteriorating. By his own account, he was in one of the darkest places he had ever been. It was during this time, while out near the Cape Fear River in North Carolina, that everything changed. He describes seeing strange lights—glowing orbs hovering silently in the sky. Not blinking like an aircraft, not moving like anything conventional. These lights, he says, moved with intention… almost as if they were aware.
