Kathy Evans is back for Part 2 of our conversation, and we’re changing gears a
bit. We’re shifting to Kathy’s role as a mother of boys (now men). We ask her to
reflect about her heavy parenting years - what actually matters looking back,
how she survived the teenage years, and how she thinks she role as mother lives
on in the next generation of her family. She talks about navigating a divorce
and co-parenting with her former husband, and what her kids have to say about
that experience now as adults. She also reflects on midlife - what gets better
with time, how to maintain friendships through the years, where she chose to put
her energy (and still does), and how it feels to now be a grandma of girls(!).
